The Site

National Poetry Month is a pretty good month. And this blogger here has a cool thing going where he shares an UNPUBLISHED poem by a PUBLISHED poet each day. It's v. delightful and today's poem is lovely.
I just got home from work. I've been working on a power point about RtI for 2 days straight. It is done. I hope the presentation goes well tomorrow.

Good luck with your presentation. I'm sure it will be great.
Here's a short poem for you:
There are no rocks at Rockaway;
There are no sheep at Sheepshead Bay.
And silent is Long Island Sound.

Poet unknown.

Maybe you have to be a New Yorker.

I love that blog idea. I also like stuffjewishyoungadultslike.wordpress.com.

By the way, I am back in the challenge. Even if I have already lost, I'm still participating. Can we have a phone call in which you explain how blogging works? How we can be linked and stuff?

Also, all of your friends should come to my blog.

Thanks for coming by, D, G, J, and Td.

Have you all been over to Td's blog? It's awesome!!!

Once we get her straightened out on how to link more often to this blog right here, it will be super awesome!

Wednesday's poem WAS lovely. Thanks for the great link.

Also, your comment on someone else's blog (can't remember, so many good literacy challenge blogs!) about not being able to get through a novel cracked me up. I have the same problem. My brain starts chanting "THIS ISN'T REAL" and I give up pretty quickly from there.
