Hard tack. Not what I'm tryna eat right now.
Hard tack does not sound good at all. but to me it sounds better than salt pork. gross.
Difficult times, difficult food. That's what I always say.
p.s. I've never said that before.
I don't like salt pork but I do like salt on my pork.
Have read/heard the words "hard tack" before, but must confess I don't know what "hard tack" is, and I'm not sure I wanna....
