I see one bird.

Tr:  Ani Roa Bird Echad.

I've recently identified this fine looking bird on a walk in our neighborhood. It has the name of great tit.

When we were in Istanbul, I saw one right outside our window.  I told Husbandman, who was reading his computer screen.  "I see a great tit out here."
Husbandman didn't look up.  "Just one?"
"Yes."
Husbandman kept reading and said, "I'm not interested."

Not sure why I'm sharing this silly story, but it was on my mind this morning.  Probably because Husbandman is in the kitchen muttering to the kitchen tools that aren't working. I hear him saying, "C'mon hot plate.  C'mon frying pan.  You were born to do this job.  Let's get focused here."

Speaking of getting focused, I've gotta start moving.  One thing I've learned this year is that the more time you have, the more time you can waste with frittering and frippery.  Come to find out, I truly enjoy frittering and frippery, so it's working out great.

That Peter is just hysterical!!! Or he's lost his mind. Maybe both?!
Beautiful bird. I saw Grace Reynolds at David Sedaris last night. She is such a lovely young woman!! It made me smile. And then David had me in stitches. That man is irreverent and hysterical.

I'm really jealous of your visit with David. He's been over to our house on high street many times. We just love him.

This is truly hysterical! I too am finding the more time I have to futz around-the more I futz! but it is nice to have time to futz! Now to try the difficult task of proving I am not a robot!

I think the frittering is an important part of the writing process, and a must for your time off and away. I wish we would have gone to see DS. He is v.funny and I love listening to his stories. Grace told me she saw you jw!

I am familiar with flittering, but I'm not familiar with frippery:)

It seems as though husbandman was born to motivate those kitchen utensils!

How can he not be interested in singular greatness?
