At the Mighty Blacksmith's

Tr:  Zum Wehrhaften Schmied

We're in Aachen.  We took a train here today. There's something about riding the rails from one nation to the next that gives you a sense that you're on an adventure. Aachen is awesome. If you ever think, "Should I go to Aachen?" the answer is yes. I couldn't take pictures today because I had to keep my gloves on, but I might take a few tomorrow. There's a cathedral here that is extremely stunning. Come to find out, Charlemagne is buried there. Tonight we ate at Zum Wehrhaften Schmied.  We muddled through with our  language problems. I answered, "Ken," to some of the sweet server's queries, which means I am now an official Hebrew speaker.
If you're in Haifa, go see this exhibit at the Hecht Museum
