The Hotel

Come to find out, there's a new blogging challenge.  I read about it at Indiana Rock, but the initiator is Pronto Pup.  (Thanks, Pronto.  This is going to be awesome!)  It's all about writing things that happen to us each day.  Nothing's happened to me so far.  I've been quietly and with great consideration for others checking email in the dark because my ncte roomie, judith, just keeps sleeping. I've been up for hours.  It got to be 8:30 and she was still silent as a cadaver.   Finally I whispered to her, "Judith, you've got to wake up.  I want coffee and I don't want to go without you.  I'll be too lonely."
Now the good news, Judith is in the shower and soon, rollamos.

Love this. You paint a vivid morning picture.

Wish I was in Chicago. Why hasn't some science genius figured out how to beam folks ala Star Trek? Beam, transport, whatever it's called, it would be really useful.

It would be super useful indeed. I think this invention can't be far off. We'll be spending weekend afternoons at the BEAN and week day lunches at BIN 36 any day now!

I'm a sleeper. Everyone knows that. Why should it be any different here? Things aren't going to change. And fyi...it was 7:30 local time.

Hotel--- I thought perhaps you were going to comment about the lack of internet in the presentation rooms. What kind of national convention doesn't have internet?

Living vicariously through two good friends in Chicago has been a fun part to my day--so glad you are posting blogs about it!!!And txting and tweeting about it! Plus tomorrow is Friday, and that is always good!

mm....there's no internet in the presentation halls? How can we tweet?

There's a little gap for a snack around 145? We could consume edible food. 1:45 to 2:30. Let's do this!

Nance. This is ridiculous that you aren't here. It has everything you like, esp. ME!

Usually I sneeze seven times in a row. It used to always be three, and then grew to five. It seems stuck on seven these days. I think nine is not far off...

So long as you're following the #1 rule of traveling with Judith. As she repeated to your offspring time and again- No singing!

Judy's still sleeping. I'm up, showered, dressed, ready to go. I could sing her a wake up song. Rosalyn, what say you???
