I'm not sure why I avoid them.

Don't beat yourself up! I agree with jw.
I hate going to funerals and try to avoid them too. I like to remember the person as I knew them and I like to think that is how they want to be remembered. I also like to think that they know how much I dislike funerals and they do not want me there!

Thanks pals. I do have flaws in the funeral department. I'll work on this later. In the meantime, everyone stay healthy.
