Okay, stick a fork in it. I'm pulling out of my funk. We're all doing the best we can. And life goes on, long after the thrill of living is gone. I'm not really trying to say that there are still no thrills to be had. Far to the contrary. I'm just saying that life goes on and you've got to lean in to it. Maybe "daily thrills" would be a good theme that would lead to blog fame. I've got to make every second count. This much I know. My thrill for the day: I had this great grilled cheese sandwich from that little place called Soup's On. And I also had potato soup. SUPER good.

I was writing with a pen called a "pentel WOW!"
Wore new pants and SHIRT!
Saw a lot of Vera Bradley bags at the big district wide meeting. Super colorful with swirly patterns.
Wore new "boot socks."
Meeting presenter used something called "timer tools." V. colorful and cool. Also potentially helpful.
My friend JG sends 35$ each month to a kid in Ghana!
Presenter showed a color enhanced photo of the HUMAN BRAIN!
Presenter quote: "Life's full of second chances." i find this reassuring.
Thought about Annette Bening's hair from Golden Globes. Extremely thrilling.
Several teachers thanked me for the work I do. Wow! Amazing what a small thing like a thank you can do to perk up a body.
All in all, a thrilling day.
My favorite among yours: "Several teachers thanked me..."
A well-deserved thrill.

I better figure out my word of the year? Is that a happiness goal this week? I asked someone for a favor today, so that was good.
Here's another thing. It was hard to ask anyone for a favor today. That's teaching me something about myself. I did ask my friend Kathy to get me a water bottle tho. She was standing and closer to the water bottle table. I was sitting in a really crowded space at our district Title meeting. So not a big favor, but that's something I could work on.

Today I've done some treadmilling, some laundry, and some literacy partner reading. It's been fairly thrilling as well.
Tomorrow? I can barely think that far ahead. What do you think???

Here they are:
A woman at my table was wearing 2 different scarves. A nice look.
And one of the 2 men there had a great black and white swirly tie.
My pen had something called "Z Grip."
A woman at the meeting raises backyard chickens. The newspaper had an article about her! She was wearing a cool sweater with one big button.
The presenters started the day by reading a fun book called The Cow Loves Cookies. Then they put a beautiful platter of home made cookies in the center of each table.
