The Pup

This pup needs a home. Judy is its current foster mom and she flattered me by suggesting that the blog might be a good venue for pup adoption. I spent the evening with this canine and she played happily with Judy's other dogs while we conversed and enjoyed snacks and bevvies. She's very sweet and surprisingly soft. Do you know any trustworthy loving types who would consider being this pup's family? I think her name's Bella so far, but I'm shaky on that detail. Posted by Picasa

Q's very allergic to dogs. His eyes swell shut and itch horribly. Though sad for Q, it works out well for me, as I'm not much of a pet person. We had a dog named Henry when I was a kid and he was loveable but difficult.

BUT...this dog is nothing like Henry, I can tell.

Thanks for posting the pup! Those pictures show her cuteness. She's a good girl and very smart. We've been working on the house training and it's going surprisingly well. She's quite a dog!

That IS a precious puppy!! I, too, know the difficulties of being allergic to certain animal fur (specifically cats)! --- aside from pup being so cute, it appears it was an EXCELLENT dissertation distraction!*!* --- sounds like you may have enjoyed a well-deserved break!-- love y'all---B&B

We discuss getting a dog some day...a very small dog which makes very small poops. The boyfriend says we must wait until the cat dies, a thing he wishes for each and every day. A couple of times the cat has disappeared for a day or two, but just as the BF was about to break out the celebratory champagne, the cat showed up again. Like Henry, the cat is loveable but difficult.

I love pet stories. #1 son had a beta fish that lived for many, many years. He lived in his bowl on our kitchen counter and Husbandman took amazing care of him---changing the water regularly, giving him not only food, but attention. It was funny to see the son lose all interest in the fish (Firebeam) and the husband become obsessed with him. But when Firebeam died, # 1 just broke down and cried for hours. Though his reaction was surprising and sad, I felt worse for husband. Another weird animal story. All day a rabbit has been running around the backyard. Usually they just sit out there munching, but this one is all over the place. Weird.

Let me redirect. This cute pup needs a home. She has such a sweet disposition and I don't think will weigh any more than 40 lbs.
