The Bag

OMG!  I'm moving out of the country for 10 months.  Starting at this time tomorrow.  I'm in good shape.  A few errands, and some tub cleaning, but it's going to get done!  YEEHA!    I even bought one of these for my trip!  I have to give up my phone, so my texting ends today.  I'll let you know my new phone # when I get to the other side.  I'm going to be instantly deleting any work related emails (as in instantly. Without reading. The split second I see them), so put something FUN in the subject heading if you are emailing me directly.  The excitement is finally here.  Yeeha.

                                                                                      (Shalom!  See you later!)

Oh, I've been thinking of you all week! Especially when I saw this commercial. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KoG0O9xH6-U I think it reminds me of you because you offer advice on many of your posts and it sounds like a commercial you could have wrote. :)

Have a safe flight. You'll have to blog post as soon as you arrive so all of your followers know you made it!

Lastly, I saw where Christian Watford has joined a team in Israel. I think you'll have to go watch him play.

Love,
MP

I'm trying again. If there is no link, just copy and paste. It's only 30 seconds.

Thanks, All. Today's the day. Husbandman said, "I wish we knew already what we're forgetting." That would be a great super power.

MP, love the commercial. Don't sell my hair to a wig maker. Got it! :)

We are awake and dressed and ready for a day of errands. Our good friend Koby is going to come and take us around to car, phone, bank places.

It's going to take a few days to get over the jet lag, I can tell. Woke up at 4am, wide awake. Bleh.
But we are here and happy to be starting our visit at last. Beautiful dinner at a little beach restaurant last night. And a fun walk on the busy beach. Tons of Haifans out and enjoying the surf and sensational sunset. Our university hotel room has a TEENY kitchen. We'll be in this room for 2 to 3 weeks. It suits us fine. Peter's working on something mathish right now, and I'm doing what I do best----noodling around on the internets. Soon I'll figure out what my routine will be.

Crossing our fingers that we can get our errands done without too much hassle. So great to have Koby to help us. Hope he doesn't get sick of us!

Love 2 U dears!

I'm sure the jetlag thingy will take awhile to get over. It's a huge time difference and a shock to your body. I'm off to church and then school. Same ole same ole. Back to that routine.

Thanks to Koby, we now have a green car and some phones. I also have the worst jet lag on the planet. I hope things perk up soon. I feel really out of it.

I'm giving this day a 3 on the fist of 5. Except for lunch which was a solid 5, with a new food. Halloumi cheese salad.

Lack of Hebrew might be a real problem here, not going to lie. We shall see said the blind man, as he picked up his hammer, and saw.

A green car! The beach life sounds cool. And a small kitchen mean many meals out, right?

Hope you're sleeping well right now and that you wake tomorrow feeling better.

Thank you for the updates. Love to you both.

I'm upgrading today to a 4. Husbandman and I ventured out and bought a few little grocery items, including some wine. We didn't think we had a cork screw, but the shop guy said he could partially open the bottle for us. He said we could use our teeth to open it the rest of the way, but come to find out we had a cork screw in the guesthouse room.

One casualty of not knowing Hebrew: We bought a bottle of water and come to find out, it was bubble gum flavored. Had to be sent down the drain immediately.

Other than that, all is swell.
