Tov, tada.

Translation:  I'm fine, thanks.

In the past 2 days we've gotten phones, a car, a credit card, a bank account, an office for Husbandman and a parking permit.  So obviously the past 2 days have not been super fun.  The people assisting us have been helpful and kind, as we bumble through awkwardly not understanding. We are trying to decide if we will live in the junior staff apartments or rent an apartment off campus next month.  Apartment = more expensive, but could be nicer.  I want to spend most of my time writing this year.  If I could just get one or two projects done, I'd be v. pleased.  That's why I can't wait for all this jet lag jumble to pass. Our plan is to work during the day, stroll the beach in the evening. A simple, focused life.  We're heading to the beach now for a walk with Koby.  I miss you all.  Very much.

Bagels? They got those?

I've seen them not. But I haven't been here that long. I'll ask your cousin.

They have a lot of other good things though.

It will be exciting reading about your adventures...

A stroll on the beach every evening sounds delightful.

Love it. Only there for two days and getting it done. I say rent the apt off campus. Easy for me to say, obviously, but I am going with my gut on this. Keep the reports coming. And more photos please. Jx

Friendies, I'm still having problems with stupid jet lag. It's making me really unpleasant. I woke up at 12;15 am last night and didn't fall back asleep til 5:15. I'm not being very charming to Husbandman and I can't seem to get my act together today. We looked at an apt. today. It was nice, but we might stay in the faculty apartments. I can't make decisions right now and I'm not in a good mood. Are you getting what I'm saying about the jet lag?

I empathize with the decision-making probs. I'm excited about your simple, focused life; and I'm hoping we can write about podcasts.

Cool, you two! You're going to have a great year, I can feel it!!

Sounds wonderful despite all the tasks. I vote for the apartment.
