Tr:  Problem (I think)
You know how some people say we have a deer problem in Bloomington? Come to find out, (and no one opted to mention this), we have a WILD BOAR problem in Haifa.

We were walking back to our car after a mediocre movie called The Congress (See it if you want to) and we were both standing near the driver's side door when Husbandman pointed to the other side of the car and said, "Is that a wild boar?  That's a wild boar!"  I looked up and decided Husbandman was correct.  A wild boar was standing on the other side of our car.  I hopped in the back seat and Husbandman hopped in to drive.  We barely escaped with our lives.  On the way home I googled the query, "Are there wild boars in Haifa?"  There are.  They're roaming the streets at night.

Didn't survivor have wild boars on the show? I think they are g.r.o.s.s.!!!! I would have been screaming. I wanted so badly to see Quinn play at Malibu on Friday but once I walked in the door at 6:00 I couldn't leave the house again. I just couldn't. Please keep us informed as to where he's playing. I will make it.

I find this story wildly interesting. Where do they come from if they only roam the streets at night? You must do more research and post on this topic again!

Do you have a picture of the wild boar? Since they probably roam like the deer, I'm sure you'll be able to photograph at least one during your stay.

Haifa is built into some forested hills. The wild boar don't have many predators because they're not kosher, so they are wandering down into town to eat some garbage, chase dogs, and dig up irrigation systems in people's yards. Some people want to kill them. Some people want them to be free. Kind of like the deer situation in Bloomington. I'll learn more as I keep reading daily on this wild boar topic.

MM, Here's a picture someone else took. I'm fairly frightened of the wild boars at this point, so I'm not sure I'll get a photo this year.

This is super freaky. I would have basically had a fit with the wild boar. Good job on staying cool, calm, and collected. You're the best.
