She quickly interjected, "I do not use that word."

Wow! Somebody has been zapped from your blog.

The comment was in Japanese, which seemed weird to me. Possible spam?
Clarity on certain issues is a good thing.
I've had a cold which is a good excuse to lounge on the couch and read. Just finished Lorrie Moore's new novel, "A Gate at the Stairs." Highly recommended for both you and Teen Daughter if you haven't read it already.
Does Fenli follow your blog. She often writes that way on FB.

Fenli?? Do I know this facebooker?
Oh I get what you're asking now. No it wasn't Fenli. It was by some one else, whose name I didn't recognize. Name was written in English. But the comment was written in All Japanese characters. Looked neat, but it made me nervous.
If UPS gets through tomorrow, check your front porch.

p.s. Did you see that much of the TAWL listserv is on fb now?
Cynthia, I read a great review of the Lorrie Moore. I'm glad to hear your corroborative comments!
I don't really like this term, but there are worse for sure. I'm thinking of some, but I def won't type them here.
TD's conviction makes me very happy.
