The Room

For 2 years, 20 Something's Daughter has been empty (shrinelike) and we really haven't used it at all.  This year (2012) I got the great idea to start using her room as a place to work.  I'm very productive in here.  And very happy.  THANKS, 20 Something!  I'm living up to my Woolfian potential.  Still sad (to v. sad) you're gone tho.  Just fyi.

No, it's all still here. I've been throwing some old Cosmos away though!

Be careful...I made my youngest child's room so comfortable that hubby moved in...that's how I ended up in the closet! :)

Great idea. Everyone needs a comfortable workspace filled with pleasant memories and vibes.

It really is a very nice place. I use the timer and go in for 15 minutes, then go out for 15 minutes. This is a good system.

I could use a better workspace. If I lived near you, I'd ask to share R's room with you. The coffee shop is okay, but I need to spread out!

jdoc. YES. Spreading out is impossible at the coffee shop. R's bed is now covered with 19 different stacks of papers.

On the bad side, our friend's coming over to fix the light fixture in here and I'm going to have to clear out soon.

And #1 walked in awhile ago to show me a photograph that he felt had been excessively photoshopped. He didn't stay long so it was a nice little break, but still. There are some interruptions in here.

Our PBS facilitator from years ago SW wanted to share a book title with me that was an assets based approach to poverty. I need to track that down. JJB

I would like to know the name of that book if you ever track it down.

I've printed off the R. Bomer article, but haven't read it yet. I like his stuff a lot.
