The Potter

HP5 = quite good. I only read the first book so I tend to have fewer issues with the HP films than members of the reading public who live here with me in this home. Everyone here seemed to like the film and are eagerly waiting for book the 7th to appear soon.
Now the fam is heading north to hear B. Dylan sing and I'm staying at home, working on the stupidhead diss and going to see Ratatouille.

There were lots of kiddos in the crowd, screaming out their random thoughts at regular intervals. One little-ish girl had to be carried out after a few minutes of screaming but she seemed to be younger than 2. Very small with one of those fountaintop pony tails.
It's kind of an odd movie because it's all about fine cuisine, food critics, and colonies of rats. I think Shef would like it. It's not scary at all, just some guy cooking food, with a rat's help.

thanks for the scoop. i don't know why we have never taken shef to a movie theater, as he's almost three-and-a-half. he gets kind of scared of things, though, and the screen is so big. that sounds lame. maybe i'll take him to ratatouille.

Hey friend! Long summer, no see! Just catching up with you on the blog. I really need to start blogging again, but where to start again once I've stopped and missed blogging so many monumental life events? Go back and fill in the missing pieces? Move forward as if I hadn't stopped blogging for many months? What to do? BTW, Andy's first movie theater movie was Snow White (the revival), at about age 3. He was very frightened by the evil witch and the scary forest.

hey j, yes, I click on your blog all the time, wishing, wishing.

q used to love watching snow white at home. he would call us into the room whenever the wicked witch came on, to sit with him. then he'd be okay again. we have a whole set of dwarves. i should find those guys.
