I'm going to borrow a friend's office this month. Maybe I'll get something done on the diss. I only really have 2 chapters left to write. One hard chapter and one not as hard chapter. So, if I can stop checking email, and stay away from that stack of magazines that keeps luring me over, I should get something done. Thanks, KR, for the office space. Cross your fingers one and all.

kc told me about the lock-down. Good luck.
Are there visitation periods?
jw
Regarding visitation periods:
1) Only in case of emergency.
2) Only with permission of a supervising officer (me).
3) Only for a maximum of 5 minutes or 50 exchanged words, whichever comes sooner.
4) Any attempt at rescuing the detainee---I mean the researcher--
will be met with swift retribution.

whoa. peter means business. it's a little scary.
Is the detainee allowed a beverage of her choice at any given time(s)?
not at ANY given time, but at designated times, bevvies are produced.
