The Namesake

We saw this fine film last night. The characters are likeable and believable. The story is moving and sad and sweet. Great shots of India too. Teendaughter read the book last summer so she could fill us in on some plot queries. I think you will like it.

I think I've started that book three times now. Each time I enjoy the beginning, but I never seem to get very far. This is a nice reminder to try again.

Last night we saw Factory Girl, the movie about Edie Sedgwick. V. good. I loved the book about her, just called Edie. It's like a documentary biography. Movie stayed pretty true to the stories in the book i thought.

everyone's moaning about the ending to the Sopranos, but I loved it. Husbandman liked it too.

Did you know that Kyra Sedgwick is Edie's second cousin?
