The Plan

I finished section one of the three sectioned penultimate chapter this week. That required some celebrating at Bear's Place. Today it's back to grindstone land. I did take one short break last week to see the Girl Scouting in Our County exhibit at the history museum.

at the exhibit i saw all the scouting accessories that i never had. what a racket even back then. i got this real strong remembering of wanting all the little geegaws and doodads.

i remember the song too. i guess that part was free.

i was not a scout, but i know this motto: "In girl scouting the girl comes first." i believe i remember some controversy over that motto, actually.

When I was a little girl I never wanted to be a girl scout. I wanted to be a boy scout. I loved the knickers, the high top boots, and the littleknife holder on the side of the boot.

When I worked in the kid's dept at Wassons we had a huge area with just GS items for sale. A few pedaphiles would come in and finger everything.
