Thursday Creativity Share: 3 or 4 cool things

I've already mentioned that you should check out the Miniatures at the Grunwald Gallery, but what I did not tell you is this.  This little miniature of a  table and chairs is an exact replica of the table and chairs Husbandman grew up with in his home in Altadena.  When we saw this miniature, we stood agape in amazement as a deluge of memory and emotion figuratively washed over us.

Here's the next thing.  Cynthia told me about Patti Smith's new book, M Train.  I can't wait to read it.  After I heard about it, I came across this great piece by Penelope Green.  I wish I had a bungalow in the Rockaways like Ms. Smith.  I know I could do good work there.

I'm listening to a book by Elizabeth Gilbert.  I saw it over on MM's blog.  Intrigued by the title I put it on my audible account.  You should listen to this if you want.  So good.  Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear.  It came into my life at just the right time, as ideas will, if we're open to them, according to Elizabeth Gilbert, and I think I agree.

Last but not least?  We have tickets to the Ukulele Orchestra tonight and also I signed up for ukulele lessons.  They start next week. I'm so excited I can't even tell you. So let's just drop it.

Thursday Creativity Share.  A fall break extravaganza of creativity and exploration.  Memorable Miniatures.  Survivor Smith.  Creativity as Magic.  Ukuleles.  It's all here, all around us. Any one of these things would be considered on fleek, but all together? Get out of town.

I'm amazed these days by the triggers of nostalgia for me. That's one sweet story.
