The Schedule

Schedules are made every day now for the reading teachers. These schedules are made by me. Some of the reading teachers thank me for making the schedules. Some tell others that they have no intention of following the schedule. And then those people come and tell me that people said that. And I follow people around to see if they're following the schedule. Some are and some are not. And then I offer friendly reminders.
I'm finding out that I'm fairly tenacious.

when i heard jennifer say, "I need a worker. I need a worker here!" I thought of you.

I need a literacy worker. I would be very pleased to follow your schedule.

CB and I want to know if you're miffed about the Toll books since you won't answer her calls or my emails regarding them.

No, I'm not miffed. I want the books desperately. R's departure took me out of society for a week of so. I might be ready for re-entry? I do appreciate you both so much.

Do you think I should teach Children's Lit? How hard is it? Time?

I told CB that was probably your problem.
CL takes a lot of work, a lot of preparation and planning, and some money. But it's wonderful.
Of course, that means you would NOT be teaching it as they do in the English Dept., as a survey course. You would teach it as Using CL and YA to enhance literacy.
I LOVED it!! You would too. (If you think you have the time to invest.)
