Even though I've been working hard writing the workshop, I'm still enjoying summer mode. Today I've not showered, and I drove #1 son to work in my jammies. I more fully appreciate how some citizens in this great land of ours just "let themselves go." It would be so easy to stay in sweatpants bedhead mode for all time. #1 son says I don't really look that bad, but he may be enabling me, I'm not sure. This is probably how it starts.

Bunnies, fawns, buffalo, giraffe... what next? Kathy Short sent me a photo of a large bobcat, not looking friendly, who has taken over part of her yard.
I used to like deer but they have RAVAGED my garden. No kidding. They've eaten just about everything that blooms and every tomato off the tomato plants and even the tomato plants themselves. I'm really sick to death of deer. Marlin Perkins and Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom--watched it religiously every week.

love the fotos from the zoo!!
j, Yeah, Marlin hid behind the rock and his associate Jim would go out and hold the lions or the tigers. I really miss that show.
Kc... I love these zoo fotos too. I esp. love how big that giraffe's head is.
