This morning we saw:1 turkey
1 female towhee
many killdeer
many blue herons
many others that I only saw fleetingly: phoebes, swallows, gnat catchers.

Where did you guys go birding? You saw some awesome birds!! Did you know turkey vultures will do projectile vomiting as a defense strategy against their enemies? Imagine that horrible carion being thrown up in your face. Just a little tidbit of info for you.
