Thought provoking. Camel riding is tricky. As they stand up, they give no thought to who might be on their back and so it's a matter of holding on VERY tightly or you will be tipped off onto your head from a great height, resulting in skull fracture. Even once they are up, it's not especially smooth sailing. I'd say camels were chosen for their ability to cross deserts and not for traveling comfortably.
