The Cedar Waxwings

My whole life all I've ever wanted was to see a cedar waxwing.  Today I saw an entire flock of them, eating
berries in a tree on the B-line Trail.  I had the flip camera with me and tried to document.
Didn't work out so well, but I'll always have my memories of the Cedar Waxwings.  Nance was there
too.  We were thrilled.

You can't really see the cedar waxwings in this video, but click here if you want to see how marvelous they are.

Loved these birds. They were quite beautiful. Kevin and I took a drive out to Goose Pond this afternoon and saw the sandhill cranes-loved the red on them. We also saw some wild turkeys, but the cranes and the waxwings were my faves today.

Two years ago a friend of mine called me because there was a cedar waxwing taking a rest in her tree. We could watch the bird up close from her window. Those birds are awesome!!
