The afterschool program had a contest and 2 of my peeps were winners and they get to go see the Inauguration. One of the winners is my most incorrigible peep, so while I'm thrilled for her, I'm also thrilled for me, because she'll miss 2 days of school next week. Thank you BARACK!

What??? They get to go to Washington DC to the actual inauguration? That is very cool. How did they win this contest? I am wondering where I will watch the inauguration...take a day off?...head over the IMU with all the tvs?...I just don't know yet, but like Princess Diana's wedding, I simply must see it.
this is exciting. i'll be watching on television - i agree, this is just like di's wedding, which my mom woke me to watch.
