The Tasks

I've edited most of the plays, about 1/5 of the fiction stories and about 1/3 of the zines. I'm heading into the compound to finish up the job. I regret, but accept, that I must neglect my family for the sake of the progress reports that go out tomorrow. If I finish this job, it will be a superhuman accomplishment of unprecedented proportions. It will be done. Oh yes. It will be done.

i keep fooling around with alittleleeway.
i accidentally deleted my site counter. not sure i want to put another one on. i like seeing the little worldmap and seeing where people are from, but other than that, sometimes i get kind of blue when the counts are low. which is dumb.

I can hardly believe you EVER have low counts with as many times as I check daily!

See, this is what I'm talking about.
This is the kind of support that really means something to me.

i'm still editing the stories. about 8 more and about 5 more zines. just fyi.

I know what you mean about the counter. I never look at mine anymore, but at one point, the count was really central to my self-esteem, which seems bad.

congrats on the plays. i am NOT done with my essay tests OR the Midsummer papers. I'm doing quite poorly, actually.

kind of lost interest in counting when I looked at the raw logs and found that the vast majority of bmary visitors came for "Bo Derick", "hanging bob" or "mushroom hunting". Maybe that's how it should be; I don't know.

I like the current blog-look: clean, easy to read, nice bright colors. Everything that one should look for in a mate.

i know. i got most of my hits from people google imaging "vespa with side car." But still, maybe some of those became regular readers. we never can tell.

here's my status report.
the plays are done, as i've already mentioned. I have ONE fiction story left and I couldn't stand to look at it. and 5 more zines. And the zines don't take long. so i guess i didn't really act like a super hero today, but considering I had 90 pieces of LONG writing to edit and i've been working on these for the past 3 days, please give me laud. I told husbandman that i'm never going to get behind in my grading again. he seemed dubious, which i don't find supportive.

I like that you made superheroism one of your label categories. I think if I had it as a category I'd be likely to be a superhero more often. I'd hate to have an empty category, after all.

Your counts got pretty high when you did the thing with Pedro's toe. Perhaps you have a new injury to exploit? Just teasing you of course, dear heart. I have not had time to blog or read blogs lately, but I'm catching up on your doin's. I can only echo Ros's "good god, mom" on the story of hooking up to DM's oxygen supply. I can't say, though, that I wouldn't be sorely tempted :) When Andy and I were on pike's peak, you could purchase Oxygen at an Oxygen bar. We were on a budget, though, and felt as if we had plenty. And Wedge Thursday...I'm so excited.
