We're on the road once again. We'll stop in Nashville for the night. I hope to finish reading Octavian Nothing to Husbandman on this leg of the trip. Offspring not listening to the story, preferring music. A sign of independence, most likely.

I've got about 40 pages to go in Octavian. Don't tell me how it ends. Ariel read the whole thing in one afternnon while we were all visiting the Chidlaw-Dempsey household on our annual New Year's trip. She too is sworn to secrecy.
we're home and I can't download any of my fine fotos because the fam's trying to figure out how to set up the new ipods. drat.
i can't wait for the next octavian book. mtanderson, well done! i got the new mark haddon book. let's see how he does this time. happy new year to u dears.
