The Gifts

Lots of baked goods have been coming in this year. I'm eating cookies, lemon bars and fudge all day long. The madness must stop. In 2007.
I'm a little down on myself today. Because I'm a bad wrapper. I keep getting gifts that look like works of art, beautiful ribbons, handmade tags. My gifts look hideous. I don't even try to make them look nice. And that's why I'm down on myself today. That, and the constant cookie eating.

Sister Woman of mine: There is plenty of time for rice cakes and other flavorless stuff.

Wrapping is overkill!!! I had to abandon all hope of being a competent wrapper, or just continue to only give small square gifts. When retail employees asked "Can I help you?" I always replied "What do you have that is small and square?"

Look for your New Year's CD around the 15th or so. (Wrapping intact)

I love you guys, have a safe and fun trip over hill and dale.

I don't get why people would spend so much on wrapping and making the outside look so pretty. It's the inside that counts!

Cameron LOVES to wrap ANYTHING. He has wrapped pieces of paper and given it to me as a gift before. He's horrible at wrapping, but I let him do it anyhow. He loves it, and I don't have to do it. Plus, when the gift looks crappy, I just let everyone know that my 5 year old did it!
