The Marrow

I sat between two carnivores this past week at excellent L'EXPRESS. Husbandman to my right was eating bone marrow. And Michel, new pal to my left, was eating horse tartare. Ick. Tonight, the fancy pants veggie place Les Chevres is on the docket. Michel told us that they can make a carrot cost 40 dollars there. So of course I'm way excited.

Went to Atlantic City last week where they had a dessert restaurant...each single artsy dessert was about 20 bucks. We weren't that hungry for chocolate.

You are having such an awesome summer!

When I was attending Stockholm University, my friend Oskar, who was an athlete living on his student stipend, ate blood loaf or soemthing for dinner. It looked like SPAM but was made of mostly blood. I could never bring myself to kiss him, even though I wanted to, because I didn't want to taste his dinner.Yuck.

yes, overall pretty lean. But I look down and see belly and then I don't *feel* lean. The goal is to reach 90% "other stuff" before nordic racing season starts.

Mary and I ran Wharf to Wharf Sunday: 50 bands, 6 miles, way fun.
