The Heat

My head's sweating a lot these days. I think I might be moving into perimenopause, but I'm not sure. Maybe I just have sweaty head syndrome. Last night, Husbandman was reading next to me while I worked on a sudoku. I asked him if he felt hot and he responded yes while still looking at his papers. When he glanced up at me a few moments later, he burst out laughing and said, "Not hot LIKE THAT!" Then he went to get me a towel to wipe my head off. It's a little embarrassing.

Maybe you need a sweatband for your head and wristbands to match. Wear them when you do sudoku and see if Husbandman notices. You'll look like a very serious puzzler.

Is this Judy's little terrier by any chance? It's very cute.

Your husband man must be a kind one. He got up to get you a towel and wipe your brow!

I have never met him, as far as I can remember. What does he look like? Maybe he should be the next pic.

No. That's not my little terrier mix. Mine is cute, too. This one is def. a winner, though.

I have had a similar thing happen, my friend, only over my entire body. It is the middle of the night. I wake up due to a terrible sensation. I realize that the sensation is that my entire body, the sheets, and the pillows are soaking wet with sweat. The house is relatively cool and partnerman is relatively cool, and now I am freezing cold because of all the wet sheets. So, this terrible thing happens about three times over the course of a month or two, and I am convinced that THIS IS IT, that I am heading straight into menopause. And then nothing else happens and everything is normal and no more heavy sweating. It's a complete mystery.

the bed thing has happened quite a few times to me too. And then it stops for a long while. The good news is...I've read this can go on for 6 to 10 years.
