The Turkeys

Though our numbers were drastically reduced this year (virtually cut in half), we stoically carried on the hand turkey tradition. We were down to 2 by Friday night, but again, Husbandman and I ventured out for a quick tour of the canopy of lights.

I like the look inside the hand anatomy - Eli
We know exactly who made each one, because you each have such a distinctive -- dare we say signature -- style! Very sad to have cut you in half this year. We feel halved as well. love you!

Teen Daughter's theme is based on some guy named Bear Grills? Have you ever heard of him? #1's is psychedelic turkey. Mine = Pretty, Nice Turkey. Husbandman kept saying his theme was "superior product." Not sure how that gets across.

Bear Grylls (with a "y", not an "i") is a young British adventurer. I've seen him on the Discovery channel. And he has a Survivor... TV show. Also an author.

I'm behind the loop on Bear Grylls. I'll work on this. Right now, I'm mostly thinking about the movie Twilight all the time.

Love the Turkey's. Catching up on your blog. Jealous...in a good way...of all your conference action. You're an awesome teacher!

Hey C, Right now I'm thinking I need to have my head examined for going away again tomorrow, but that's the way it is!
I will do these things, even when it's not in my best interest.
