The Cash

Someone left a door open in the school and one of my peeps entered the building over the weekend and stole some fake cash, the currency we call "cat cash."  The mini economy is highly motivating to the students, but it can lead them astray.  Kid got caught and now he thinks he's pretty tough.  I'll be bringing him down a peg or two.

It's nice here. But I've mostly been in my classroom working. The beginning of the year is always insane. The other parts are insane as well.

very thankful to say that the flooder went over to the fourth grade.
The thief is still with me, but since he only steals paper money with cat pictures on them, I think i can handle him. For the time being.
I'm glad it's friday.
Last night was our open house. 5 parents came to my room. They were all nice. Last year, the small turn out gave me glee, but this year, I'm not sure i feel so happy about it. What does this mean???? i want the glee back.
