The Election

I think Obama's going to win, but many of my pals are not so confident.  I have friends who are really ready to move if things don't go our way.  One pal's moving to Canada, but I suggested Mexico, because I've always wanted to live somewhere in the Yucatan.  Barack can not lose and he's not going to lose.  I feel it in my heart of hearts.

i really, really hope you're right about this. i expressed doubt to dan yesterday, and he is like you: sure of an obama victory. then, we both donated 50% of our discretionary funds for the week to barack's cause.

i think moving is the right choice if he fails. we can no longer be americans if american means bigoted and shortsighted.

Public, schmublic! Get it off now! KR says "Everyone is entitled to their opinion but THAT one should keep it to themself!" You know how violence starts to creep into me with this whole political scene!

I agree with Teen Daughter that it is a public space -- at least sort of -- but I would feel free to delete anonymous because dumping in a controversial comment without leaving any kind of identifying mark at all is not about conversation. I think it's chicken-xxxx.
