The Probes

The Response to Intervention workshop had a lot of medical talk. Sure there's more testing, but now the tests will be called "probes." And when we teach kids who are having trouble at school, we're giving them "treatment." We had the workshop so that we could read more about RTI during the summer months to get ready to organize our kids into three intervention tiers. I may have to apply CPR to myself because I'm getting really annoyed.

Now, here's something else. Go to my JPG site and click on my contacts. They're alphabetical, so go to the last page. (I think it's 5.) And find a guy named ye qinfa. Click on him. He lives in China, and has some pics of the earthquake. He's a magnificent photographer, and the pics will break your heart.

Try www.interventioncentral.org .... bunches of RTI recommendations....which universal screener are y'all using? I've become fairly masterful at STEEPS stuff so keep me posted---we're in year 3 of RTI and really just now getting off the ground!---I just got home from my last day of work til Aug. 1---YAHOO--B&B
