The Bunnies


I'm trying to forget the kid's story about the two bunnies pulled through their cage by the opossum. One was headless. The other had entrails hanging out, but was still alive. It was bopped with a hammer. At least one bunny is still alive. And his cage has been put up at a higher level.

i am hoping this story was not based on actual events.

also, i have procured the book from the local library, where i have re-activated my card as part of new money-saving, stay-at-home-mom lifestyle.

It actually happened. Both the kid and the mom told the tale. (Tamala and I both heard the story!) The sad part was that those 3 baby bunnies spent a day in our classroom a few weeks ago, when they were first "rescued."

For years I thought it was "reindeer paws" and now I see you think it's "rooftop."

"reindeer paws" as well.

I guess they're just pausing while Old St. Nick heads down quickly and gets the job done.
