Conscientious Objector
Bob Herbert's piece about Aidan Delgado inspires me this Mother's Day. Stationed in Iraq, Aidan witnessed crimes against Iraqi civilians by American troops. He confronted these actions and ultimately applied for conscientious objector status. He must have way proud parents, I bet.
