Aidan Delgado inspires me this Mother's Day. Stationed in Iraq, Aidan witnessed crimes against Iraqi civilians by American troops. He confronted these actions and ultimately applied for
conscientious objector status. He must have way proud parents, I bet.

I read the article and think that's pretty amazing.
He tried to change things from the inside out, all right. Sad that people like that just don't "fit" in the military.
I was surprised to learn that you can leave the army under c.o. status. I thought that c.o. was only a way to keep from being drafted.
