Today GPM's gift of the Dylan Christmas CD arrived. I love it because it's an almost surreal experience listening to Bob singing the carols. I have felt celebratory all day long. What with Bob's Christmas music. And KC's wonderful podcasts. And JW's small birthday gathering. And 2 weeks of vacation. It's all fun in the heartland.

btw, we've only gotten 2 christmas cards so far. My mom's gotten over 50.
Christmas cards slow arriving at my place too. They're also slow going out. I'm still working on them.

We got the tree. It's the last one in town. Now we're trying to decorate it. I'm so relieved. It's not the best tree on the planet, but it's really okay.
Note to self: Buy tree earlier next year.
okay, imagine this. My land lines were broken as well as my computer. And my cell phone was down too. I could barely stand it over here.
