I've gone over the deep end. Sure I've had some setbacks. Tooth problems. Job interview. But really, why can't I finish off the Kabul workshop? I'm almost done wockawockawocka, but I'm not done. And I'm almost getting complacent about not done mode. I was really trying to finish today but I couldn't get any good ideas. Maybe tomorrow, the ideas will come.

The Craziness
I've gone over the deep end. Sure I've had some setbacks. Tooth problems. Job interview. But really, why can't I finish off the Kabul workshop? I'm almost done wockawockawocka, but I'm not done. And I'm almost getting complacent about not done mode. I was really trying to finish today but I couldn't get any good ideas. Maybe tomorrow, the ideas will come.

I'm awake at 2 so i thought, Hey why not try to work on the workshop?
i think this craziness might be part of your creative process. and generally, your outcomes are pretty awesome. so, i propose renaming it "the awesomeness."
Well, for one thing, your tags work on all levels - from grade school through college/university, so you could, at the end, zero in on lesson planning, teaching methods, and evaluation (all of which are part of your "professional basics") by reading Once Upon an Ordinary School Day or passages from The year of Miss Agnes.
Ask them (or you do it as a wrap up) to indicate what they noticed as part of the teachers lesson planning and teaching methods, and ask them (or you tell them) what belief system underlies the lessons and methods.
Finally, ask (or tell) how they think the teacher would evaluate his/her lessons and the work done by his/her students.
Remember, in the "Ordinary" book, not all the students become enthralled with writing.
Your "Amen" (or whatever the Afghans say) could be a discussion of whether or not the book teacher is a professional.

I think we're in the homestretch here. I loved talking to the program coordinator on skype. because she's from England. She kept saying things were, "brilliant." Isn't that great how they use that adjective to mean, "Okay. fine."
If the library doesn't have the books you can get them from Amazon - overnight.
I already gave my copies away. Sorry.
