The Scrabble

We be packed. Husbandman and I have different packing styles. I keep pulling stuff out of the suitcases while he keeps walking around putting things in. He relented when I argued with some vehemence that we didn't need to take the Scrabble board to Paris, so I'm compromising on his insistence that we take 52 guide books with us.

Here is the best packing advise ever. A friend gave it to me as I headed for Europe.
"You are not going to a third world country. It is Europe for God's sake. If you need it, Buy it there. They have stores. If you don't need it, why take it in the first place.

52 guide books? Hope you get to see all the sights not just the pictures in the books. I see there will be no use for the one line of French that every student remembers "oui et le bibliotheque"? Of course if it is asked I hope a gorgeous native with a great sense of humor will answer, "apparemment il est dans votre sac"
