The Blandishments
I'm sad to report that I again have the globus problem with my throat. The globus feels like someone has their hands around my neck and is squeezing tightly. Globus is a stress symptom and all the medical sites say that there's nothing to do but give the patient reassurance and sympathy. I'm going to save myself time and not go to see my doctor about it. Instead, I'm going to blandish the globus with positivity and hope it decides to make this visit a short one.
In conclusion, I'm not happy about my current medical condition which in years past was called globus hystericus, but everyone has something going on, and in the big picture, globus hystericus isn't that big a deal.

And I was pretty freaked out about it this morning. Now, in hindsight, I guess I may have overreacted.
Here's another thing though. It's coming on February and we have not seen any snow in our town all this wintry season. Tonight...snow to the north of us, but only rain here.
It's really ticking me off. I need some wintry snow to bring some spark and sparkle my way.

Please don't restrict your words in any way.
Update on the globus: Much better than yesterday. Globus probably just wanted to check in and make sure I still know who's boss.
Going in to school????
