Fall 2012 #60: The Hobbit



We saw The Hobbit this afternoon.  #1 Son and I appreciated it in all its splendor.  Husbandman was less (than) enthusiastic.  I think The Hobbit will grow on him.  If you want to see this film adaptation of Tolkien's 1937 novel, you probably should.

I have to agree with husbandman, but maybe it's because I don't like movies and haven't read the book.

Last night I actually watched a movie (The Lorax) while correcting fables. It was tolerable. I liked the old one better.
