Just got back from Chicago. I was at the regional NCTM conference. The hotel did not have free wifi so that was bogus but everything else was fantastic. I learned some stuff, got to see the Bean, ate some meals. Now I'm heading in to work to catch up on about a gazillion and fifty things. So fall, so good. Except I'm starting to get nervous about the blogging challenge.
Husbandman's trying to convince me that we're not in fall anymore. He considers DECEMBER to be winter. HUSBANDMAN, what in the world?????

I should have been at work an hour ago, and I only blogged for my own personal well being purposes.
I think that fall ends on Dec. 21st. That's what I've decided, anyway.

I thought of you often at LRA. I even tried to comment on your blog that I was standing in line at Starbucks behind Jerry Harste. But I can't comment from my phone. That's so wrong.
Although I love the blog challenge (perhaps cuz I'm almost done), I have to agree December feels like winter not fall. Alas, we are wrong. The calendar concurs; it's still fall.
Oh, yeah. December 21 is def. the end of fall. I've tried and tried to explain that to the kinders at our school but they just don't seem to get it. So I finally took down the pumpkins and other fall decorations.
