The Cheer
The flowers at Pike's Place Market stun the senses. I love that the main tourist attraction in this city is an actual market, with people buying and selling fish, jam, flowers, cheeses, and assorted crafts. We had dinner at Bite of Seattle. Drizzly but fun to sit around International Fountain, watching people and listening to fun blues. You make me want to shout! We came home to watch a fine film. Son of Rambow. It's all about friendship and creativity. Sweet young actors. If you want to see it, you should.

Then come to SF. We spent this AM at the Ferry Building Farmers' market and came away with bread, prosciutto, squash blossoms, blueberries, assorted other veggies (tomatoes, green beans, eggplant, salad greens), and some awesome strawberries. Ah, and we had a snack of Albacore tuna lox with cream cheese, thinly sliced red onions, and roasted yellow beets on toast.

I would very much like to go to the ferry building with u2 and buy a picnic lunch. Wine should be purchased as well.
I like this pic of ros in Eli's sweater. Eli has a set of these sweaters with the zips. They're good.
