I've spent a gazillion hours on the short ncte talk i'll give this coming Friday in San Antonio. Each time I think I've got it done, something else bothers me about it. I feel very close to being done, but not quite there. At this point, not being done is a real problem because of laundry and sub plan issues. Sometimes I wish I were a machine instead of a human being. Everything would be done by now.

thursday 10:43. san antonio is fun so far. very warm.
yay.
I found San Antonio a very odd place; crowded and dense down by the river and deserted everywhere else.
Had a pretty decent massage there, although in cheesy surroundings.
Learned yesterday my favorite facialist at my favorite spa "is no longer with us." And of course they won't tell you where she went...Trying out her replacement in 2 weeks because the other known quantity there yaks through the whole thing trying to sell me product. Yuk.
mary
well, how was the talk???
S.A. is a little odd, but I did get some great meals and it's nice to be in the warmer weather. Plus I really loved the ALAMO.
Talk went well, fmp. (from my perspective).
More later!
