The Fives

5 deer in the backyard this morning. I think they crashed here last night. 4 were lying around and 1 was raiding the bird feeder. Just saw the 5th of 5 nominated best pictures, Good Night and Good Luck. I've seen all 5, so I'm ready for the big show tonight. 5 days to spring break. And today's March 5th. I wish I had a 5th 5, but there's still time. Posted by Picasa

Lately, if it hasn't been a cartoon, I haven't seen it. Although the other night I forced myself to stay awake and finally watch Crash. Such a feel good movie.

I was just saying to my husband that when the kiddos are older and take care of themselves, my goal will be to watch all the nominees before Oscar night. Wonderful goals I have for my life, huh? I'm jealous that you've accomplished them.

Hey C, I hope I can stay awake past the opening monologue. I have contracted narcolepsy along with the globus. It's ridiculous how much i'm sleeping. Maybe i'm getting some of the sleep you're not using?

I love this photo!! I only saw "like" one of the movies, but thought the show was good and was very happy to see the winner of best original score as he (Gustavo) is a colleague. Can't quite get all the fuss about Crash. I saw it and then rented it again about three months later cause I wanted to see it and had no memory of seeing it the first time. Certainly, this could be more about me than the film...

i really like this foto too.
And I did a search on bit o honey and found out that people actually like it. i was really surprised.
i was also surprised by crash's win. the themes were great, but the characters were so one dimensional it was hard to watch in places. but i love matt dillon so i'm happy for him. the show was pretty good, but teen daughter printed off voting tallies for us and i only got 3 right. everyone else in the fam got over 10. i'm out of touch, just like George Clooney.

i'm back friend...thanks for dropping me a blognote. Fotos and stories to follow as soon as I get time. I, for one, hate bit-o-honey. The BF likes bit-o-honey. He's the only person I know personally who does. I don't like the Oscars either. It's like watching famous people do nothing but just being famous. Not to mention that I haven't ever seen most of the movies. Not to sound like a curmudgeon, there are many things I like, but bit-o-honey and the Oscars are not among them.
