New Look for the Blog
The old green blog was broken. That gap between heading and post was getting on my last nerve. I emailed the help squadron at blogger headquarters, but they could not help me. The new template had to be called in. I'm getting used to it. What do you think? Would you visit this blog again?

The Feelings Check
Like you, I've been feeling feelings as I witness what's happening in Minneapolis and elsewhere. The people there are so incredibly ...

I finished a terrific book by Elizabeth Strout yesterday. Lucy by the Sea . It takes place during Covid Times. The novel brought back me...

It's so exciting. A new look for the blog. Because I'm old...proven by the salesperson at Blockbuster last night who asked me if I wanted to know about the video/game special they had going. I said no because I don't rent enough movies and he said well if your children were still at home it would be worth it. Damn!! Anyway because I'm old the black and white contrast is hard on my eyes but I'll still visit the ole blog.
That last blog was me.

If your children were still at home? I don't like that guy's buttitude!
As for the blog and your eyes, they find it pleasing, don't you think? They really enjoy the fotos against the darkness, right? And the different colored fonts, right? They find it attractive, correct?
mmm, yeah, photos against dark background seem like a good idea...mmm, attractive, yeah. Really, we oldies need big type. About 36 point would cover it.
Waiting for the new glasses (to replace the ones I threw into a cold mountain steam a week ago) to be ready at Site For Sore Eyes,
Bob
Well, yeah, the font is smaller and it's harder to read and all that, but mostly you really really like the new look, right? That avocado green was getting to you, right and you really love this new template, don't you?
As for the glasses, post some fotos on the site so i can see them. And i would like that webcam back in action if possible.
yeah, i like the new look. the avocado green was really getting to me.
the raccoons look scary and disturbing against the black background. poor mitzi with raccoons in her yard. egad.
You'd better break it to KC and explain about Mitzi and the raccoons.
Just love the blog. Just love it!!! Could we lighten up the background a tad? But I just love it!!!

Mitz feeds the raccoons twice daily! They're definitely welcome guests. She feeds everybody...quadripeds, bipeds, the webbed as well as the finned. And the feathered.
But let's get back to how nice the blog looks now, all chic and all in stylish black.
how about a deep charcoal grey?
Bob
1. gray.
2. larger font.
3. lost glasses.
we'll try to serve your demographic over at elderblogstel, mr. bob! :)
jesus!
i've never heard of anything crazier than feeding raccoons.
it's horrifying.
And how about more content that we near-AARP readers follow. like
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090481/
for example.
Bob ;->
I love the new blog look...so much so that I previously picked the same blog template! It does show off pictures most nicely. I like the contrast. Racoons are evil...they killed two of my chickens.
Bob, Thanks for the Matlock link. I never watched it but maybe I'm ready now.
A dissertation distraction, Nancy, just came by. She doesn't like the new blog look and was quite clear about that. i'm concerned.
I just saw nancy at the bank! You gotta love btown.

A little late to the party, but I like the new look!
Thanks for dropping by ABD MOM!
I like this new black look, though i'm still hearing some disparaging remarks from friends about the darkness. I'm sure any day now all will admit that the new look is superior. it's just a matter of time.
