Editing Earth

Change a word here, add a phrase there. Robust findings become tentative uncertainties in Cooney’s version of reports on global warming. White House folk say that this type of editing is a normal part of “interagency review.” Even critics of Cooney's editing job admit that “all administrations routinely” vet government reports. Good to know.
