The Rally

KC's video and Nance's enthusiasm resulted in this brief production documenting our local rally to support public education.  There's been a lot of  hating on teachers lately.  What in the world is up with that?    Teachers and other public workers don't deserve the disdain of our government. We deserve appreciation and support for a job well done!  It was great to have our wonderful Senator Vi Simpson at the rally.  If she could be our next governor, we'd be in like Flynn.  Mayor Mark Kruzan was there too.  I think he's a great mayor.  And Rep. Matt Pierce called us, from an undisclosed location in Illinois.  THANKS for fighting the good fight, MATT!

Not sure I picked the best music for the vid, but the song is about love and teachers should be appreciated, as I've already stated.  It's a stretch I know, but I do have Bieber fever right now.

Although I'm not sure about Beiber, I am sure about the need to make our voice known. I, too, went to my local rally. There was less red, but then again the temperatures were probably more frigid.

This video is BEAUTIFUL! It gets me excited for Berkeley's Day of Action to support public education today. And by the way, I figured out that the source of our confusion = that Justin song is a cover. He really puts his own spin on it, though!
