The Movies
Tomorrow I will have my implant procedure. Which as we all know, involves sedation. Teendaughter rented 4 movies for us to watch tomorrow: I Love You Man, Sense and Sensibility, Public Enemy and of course, Bourne Identity. Despite the sedation and the movies, I do feel a little nervous. What if the people say negative things about me while I'm sedated? And what if I feel discomfort or even pain after I get home? What if my 3 day weekend is negatively impacted? And what about that 4% chance that this procedure won't even work? I don't mean to sound like a big fat downer, but I do have a few worries.

You will stop worrying once you swallow that little pill. Enjoy!

Hope all went well today. You will need to take it easy this weekend but it sounds like teen daughter has it all under control. Drink lots of fun things, like Odwalla, also milk shakes, etc.
Love to you and yours,

Going to stay close to home today. Have an ncte proposal to revise (yay, kc for the first draft), an ncte ballot blurb to write, and a letter of rec for a former student teacher. Plus maybe I'll finish the Daily 5 book and the Whistling Season.

And, although I don't have duplicates, if Q would like to download a few more jazz greats, I can loan him more Miles Davis, along with John Coltrane, Zoot Sims, Gerry Mulligan, Sonny Stitt... (You can see where my tastes lie.)
I've pulled them out.

And I thought my book was the turtle in question.
Yes, I'm still in to them.
