Our trip to one room school house went well yesterday. 3 key peeps were absent and that helped considerably. The walk to the creek was my highlight. Wildflowers up and about. I tried to take some Menosky style pix, but I suck as a flower photographer. Everything was blurry. Got a good foto of a dog with ticks laying in the sun though.

Sounds like a fun trip. Where is the school?
Because I "know" your camera, I can tell you to go to the menu, and set it on closeup. Then just move in close and back and forth slightly until the pic is clear. And then shoot it.

there are a lot of great things on your photo pg, D. It's too tough to choose a favorite, but last night I enjoyed Jungle Dog. I don't even like dogs, but I really like that photo.
I can't believe you don't like dogs. How can a kid lover not be a dog lover?

well. i did enjoy the dogs we had when i was growing up. but stange dogs (especially big ones or pugs) freak me out, and once i got bitten by a dog while i was running. someday, i'll probably get a dog for my kids, and i will love that one particular dog.
